Leunen is a village in the municipality of Venray. The municipality of Venray has an urban core and is therefore equipped with all the facilities that may be expected from a city. The core is about 8 minutes by car from the horse farm. Due to the many roads (A73 Venlo-Nijmegen) and Eindhoven Airport / Düsseldorf, the horse industry has excellent accessibility and location due to the many show location in this region.

The facility is located in a wooded environment and offers great hiking tracks in the nearby forest.

Home information

The house was expanded and modernized in 2012 and consists of a detached house to use for a staff house. The house is heated by a c.v. combi boiler and is partly equipped with floor heating. The garden is located around the house and furnished with various terraces, lawn, garden shed and ornamental paving.

The paved driveway to the facility can be closed by an automatic drive-through gate and a pedestrian gate. Parking spaces for cars, trailers and trucks have been realized in various places on the facility and can be reached via the asphalted paths.

Ground floor house

Through the entrance (west side plot) you can reach the hall where the meter is placed, staircase to the 1st floor. Where you find access to the kitchen and living room. In the intermediate portal, cupboard space has also been realized on both sides. The intermediate portal connects the kitchen diner with the hall.

The kitchen diner (end of 2016) is equipped with various built-in appliances, including an induction hob, oven and refrigerator. The kitchen also has a pantry for extra storage and access to the basement.

In the spacious living room, the large windows and the patio doors in the side wall provide plenty of light. The living room has a central fireplace for atmosphere and warmth during the dark days. The kitchen is directly accessible through the living room through a passage.

The 2nd intermediate portal can be found from the kitchen, which is centrally located between the house and the extension.

The 2nd intermediate portal connects the hallway, utility room and kitchen of the house. The central corridor has its own entrance on the south side of the house. The office and portal can be accessed via this corridor. The office can also be used for other purposes.

The spacious utility room provides access to the toilet, central heating boiler in a separate spacious bathroom and trainee home. The bathroom has a sink and bath.

1st floor house

The landing of the 1st floor can be found via the fixed staircase in the hall (front of the house). This landing connects the 3 bedrooms and bathroom. The attic can also be reached via the loft ladder.

Modern bathroom (2014) on the 1st floor has a bath, walk-in shower, washbasin, floating toilet and floor heating. The bathroom is fully tiled.
The 3 bedrooms are all equipped with a laminate floor and stucco wall and ceiling. Bedroom has a fitted wardrobe and white goods connection. Bedroom II provides access to the flat roof.

Intern stay

The staff accommodation has a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, toilet room and a shower room and is accessible via a private entrance. The toilet and shower room were renovated in 2019.
On the 1st floor there is another living room and bedroom.

Horse husbandry

The horse farm is easily accessible via the paved road on the right side of the plot. Behind the horse farm is the spacious parking lot and also the manure heap, which is therefore easily accessible by truck.

Just like the house, the horse farm was renovated in 2012 and has an indoor arena (50x22m), 27 stalls, foyer, tack room, toilet group, washing / cleaning place, storage, outdoor arena, lunge circle, covered walker, manure heap, paddock and pasture.

Canteen

From the canteen there is a view over the indoor and outdoor arena. Due to its higher location, this is a perfect view. And in the summer period a great place to sit and enjoy the horses practicing in the outdoor. The foyer has a kitchenette and bar with sink, oven, refrigerator and gas stove.

Stable
The barn consists  3 segments that can be closed by means of a sliding door. Ideal for renting out stables to colleague riders. 

Part I contains 9 boxes in a U-shape, 2 washing areas, solarium, tack room and toilet group. The luxury boxes are equipped with hardwood panels and a galvanized frame.

Part II  contains 8 boxes with equipped with hardwood panels , washing places and tackroom. Above the tackroom is a addic situated. 

Part III contains 10 boxes equipped with hardwood panels. This stable part is also equipped with a tackroom and washing/grooming place. The tackroom and washingplace are made in 2019.
